Read Something Spooky!

Halloween Display 1

I got to create the Halloween themed book display at North Scituate Public Library this weekend, and had a total blast with the paper punch, in case you couldn’t tell!

Halloween Display 2

I always try to present a smattering of interests and different interpretations of my themed displays; this one features several of the classics (Frankenstein, Dracula), some infamous authors (Lovecraft, Poe), lots of crafting and pumpkin carving handbooks, and also a few about the Salem Witch Trials and the American methods of graves and funerals.

  1. Love your display! Halloween is such a rich time; I can think of no other holiday that encourages a greater mix of arts/crafts, reading of history and fiction, and social interaction.
